Alafiani Collective is African-centered and diaspora-wide. Below is a map of which parts of our program most deeply hold each community. These are invitations, not boxes - and they never imply that one community's experience is the same as another's.
Resonance is not equivalence. A community marked as resonating with a tool means that tool was designed with that community's history in mind - or holds comparative resources that may support dialogue. It does not mean we believe all diasporic suffering is the same. Each community listed here carries its own cosmology, language, spiritual life, and political context. We honour them all, and we centre African experience as our foundation.
